Your account & privacy
Your profile is shared across every club, so it’s worth setting up once, well. This page covers the parts that matter and the controls most people don’t realise they have.
Your profile
The essentials clubs may use when you apply to events: name, field of study, expected graduation, optional GPA, and contact details. You can also add a bio and LinkedIn.
CV and transcript live on your profile so you don’t re-upload them every time you apply.
Every CV version is kept. When you update your CV, past applications still point to the exact version you submitted then. You never accidentally send a club a CV that’s out of date — or overwrite what they already reviewed.
Privacy controls
You decide what’s visible, at a fine grain:
- Profile visibility — public, members-only, or private.
- Hide specific clubs — keep a membership fully active while hiding it from your public profile.
- Phone sharing — control whether clubs can see your number (this is what most clubs use to add you to group chats).
- Show or hide your email and club roles on your profile.
If a tier or event requires a shared phone number, you’ll need sharing on to join or apply. You can still keep it hidden everywhere else.
University email & affiliation
Add and verify your university email to prove your affiliation — that’s what lets clubs confirm you’re actually a student there, and unlocks student-only tiers and events. This is separate from how you log in (eduID or email/password).
Calendar
Subscribe to your UniClubs event calendar (an ICS feed) to see everything you’ve signed up for in Google, Apple, or Outlook Calendar. Separately, connecting your university timetable lets UniClubs warn you about clashes when you register for events.
Connected apps
If you’ve used your UniClubs login to sign in to a club’s own website, you can review and revoke those connections anytime under your account’s connected-applications settings.
Emails you’ll get
UniClubs emails you only for things that concern you: sign-in and verification, membership decisions and welcomes, payment confirmations and reminders, event confirmations, application status changes, event reminders and cancellations, and ticket confirmations.
