Payments & discounts

Set up how your club collects money once, and it applies to both memberships and event tickets.

Two ways to get paid

  • UniClubs Pay (online) — accept cards, TWINT, and Apple/Google Pay with automatic confirmation. Students pay, and the membership or ticket is marked paid without you touching anything. It takes a one-time setup and a verification check — see the step-by-step Setting up UniClubs Pay guide.
  • Manual methodscash, bank transfer, TWINT (and card by arrangement). Students see your instructions at checkout, and your team marks the payment received in the panel.

UniClubs is free for your club — no subscriptions, no setup fees, no feature gates. Take payments however suits you.

Grace period

Set how long students have to complete payment after registering. Until they do, their spot is held as pending payment rather than confirmed — so you’re never chasing money for someone who’s already counted as in.

Tracking the money

The Finance area records every payment — amount, method, date, and who recorded it — with revenue broken down by month and by tier. Manual payments are marked received (or invalidated) by your team, and every such action is logged for accountability.

Discount codes

Create codes for tickets, memberships, or both. Beyond a simple percentage or fixed amount, the useful part is how tightly you can scope them:

  • Restrict a code to specific tiers, events, or ticket types.
  • Cap total uses and uses per person.
  • Set a valid-from / valid-until window and a maximum discount amount.

This lets you run precise campaigns — an “early-bird 20% off, first 50 people, Regular tickets only” code — without hand-checking anything. Usage and its revenue impact are tracked per code.
